Sara J. Bennett

Sara J. Bennett, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was born in Bethlehem on October 14, 1935; daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Connery) Diehl. She was the wife of the late George Bennett who died in 2004.

Sara will be lovingly remembered by her children: Eileen Kolbeck of Wisconsin, Mark of Virginia, Kathleen Wismer of Blakeslee, PA, Steven of Easton and David of Nazareth; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters: Joan Anicola, Marie Lilly and Margaret Saylor.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Oct. 16 at 10 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
