Sarah H. Norwood

Sarah H. Norwood, 70, of Allentown, passed away on Saturday August 11, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest in Allentown. She was born in Bilwaskarma, Nicaragua, daughter of the late E. Howard and Martha (Myer) Housman. She was the wife of Rev. Dr. Douglass P. Norwood Jr.

Sarah was a registered nurse and also received her CRRN in rehabilitation nursing. Sarah worked for The Good Shepherd Raker Center in Allentown and several other hospitals in New Jersey.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Douglass, sons, Hugh D. Norwood and wife Terri of MD, and Samuel Norwood and wife Janet of Bethlehem, sisters, Bari Fort and husband Dennis, and Christina Housman both of NC, and Ruth Housman of NM, and 4 grandchildren, Charles, Lucy, Jonathan, and Jacob. She was predeceased by a brother John Housman.

A Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ahuas Clinic in c/o The Moravian Board of World Mission, PO Box 1245, Bethlehem, PA 18016-1245.
