Sarah Lucia (Calabrese) Mack, 93, of Allentown, died on May 25, 2021. She was born a first generation American in Phillipsburg, NJ on April 23, 1928; daughter of the late Francesco and Angelina (Merlo) Calabrese. Sarah was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 68 years, Sterling Edward Mack. The two shared a life together for over 70 years and were a beautiful couple.

Sarah will be lovingly remembered as the matriarch of the family. Sarah was a selfless, hard working woman who took care of those she cared for most. She loved spending time with her family. Sarah was most happy when family and friends were around her table. She enjoyed bingo, going to the casino and drawing.

Sarah was a beautician for 75 years; working as both an owner and stylist in Wilson and Easton.

Sarah is loved by many and will be dearly missed by her daughter, Desty Bonstein and husband, Jim of Macungie; son, Francis “Frank” Mack of Allentown; stepson, Brian G. Mack and wife, Lynn of Fruitland NM; grandchildren, David Bonstein, Daniel Bonstein; Donavan Mack; and Kimberly Hunt; and great grandchildren, Cecily; Sophia; Shae; Sienna; Bryce; and Jakob. She is also survived by her sisters, Rose Siedt and Anna Kemmerer; and brothers, Anthony Calabrese and Frank Calabrese; as well as her nieces, nephews, and cousins.
