Scott J. Olexa

Scott J. Olexa, 44, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, February 15, 2011. He was born December 8, 1966 in Bethlehem, the son of James C. and Paula A. Olexa of Bethlehem.

Scott was a 1985 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and earned his Bachelors Degree from DeSales University.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents; grandfather, George Olexa; sisters, Bobbi Jean Hahr-Maynor and her husband, Gerard, and Nancy Rizotto as well as his nephews, Shawn and Joshua and his niece Johnna.

Scott was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Michael and Helen Ripper and his paternal grandmother Rose Olexa.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 17, 2011 from 7-9 PM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church 1408 Easton Rd. Hellertown, PA 18055.

Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Catholic High School. Please include "Scott Olexa Scholarship" in the memo. Contributions may be sent to Bethlehem Catholic c/o Development Office 2133 Madison Avenue. Bethlehem, PA 18017
