Shaine Scheetz

Shaine T. Scheetz, 30, of Johnstown, PA, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. Born on May 22, 1993, he was the son of Deanna L. (DiMartino) and James H. Scheetz, Jr.

Shaine worked for Walmart as a warehouse supervisor. He grew up playing baseball at North Central Little League and football with the Bethlehem Raiders. Shaine had a great love for all animals, especially his pit bulls and reptiles. An avid car enthusiast, you could often find Shaine tinkering on his cars. Above all he loved his family greatly.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Deanna and Jim Scheetz, Jr.; brother, Joel Scheetz; sister, Anastacia Scheetz; grandmother, Bonnie Stauffer and her husband, Kap; grandfather, Stephen DiMartino and his wife, Diane and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad with a memorial service to follow at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shaine's name to an animal shelter of your choice.
