Sherri L. Carlos

Sherri L. Carlos, 43, of Allentown, passed away Friday, April 6, 2007 with her family by her side. She was born September 4, 1963 in Allentown, the daughter of Terry and Sheila Lifland Slack of Phillipsburg, N.J. She was the wife of Joao M. Carlos of Allentown. They were married June 19, 2004.

Sherri graduated from Phillipsburg High School and continued her education at Moravian College earning her Bachelor's Degree in education and psychology. She received her Master's Degree from Wilkes College in education and classroom technology.

She worked at Miller Heights Elementary School as a second grade teacher. Sherri's job was her passion, she loved the children she taught everyday and her co-workers. She was involved with the wellness community in Bethlehem. She was an avid walker

who walked four miles everyday. She loved country music and line dancing and attended many concerts. She and her husband own two antique cars; a 1929 Cabriolet and a1940 Chevy.

Sherri will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband , parents,

daughter Crystal Marie Scheip and son Corey Michael Scheip both of North Carolina,

step-daughter-Samantha Marie Carlos of Bethlehem; sisters, Terri Picione, wife of Anthony of Milford, N.J.; Trudy Slack of Reading; a niece and nephew and her faithful and loving llaso opso; Maggie.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be Monday, April 9, 2007 from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday, from 10-11 a.m. both in the funeral home.

Burial will be at Northampton Memorial Shrine, Inc., in Easton, PA
