Sherry L. Sterner

Sherry L. Sterner, 45, of Wind Gap, passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016 at Hospice House of St. Lukes. Sherry was born January 14, 1971, daughter of Betty Jane (Bartholomew) Bartleson of Wind Gap and the late William H. Bartleson.

Sherry was born to love and care for children. She touched so many lives from being a mom, to fostering children, to owning The Childrens Center of Wind Gap. She was the best friend to everyone. Her faith guided her life as she attended Pocono Union Church in Henryville and House on the Rock in Wind Gap.

Sherry will be dearly missed by her mother, Betty; children, Madison, Logan, Robin, Kayleigh and Olivia; husband, Rick; brothers, Michael Bartleson, his wife Stephanie and sons, Zachary and Alex; and Jeffrey Bartleson; boyfriend, Michael Gerstenberg; as well as her extended family and friends.

Please join the family on on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Grace United Methodist Church, 404 E. Mountain Ave, Pen Argyl, PA 18072, for Remembrance of Sherry Sterner. Receiving will be from 2-4pm, followed by the service at 4 pm. Following the service, everyone is invited to the banquet hall at the Blue Valley Complex, 707 American Bangor Rd, Bangor, PA 18013, to celebrate Sherry's life from 6-10pm.

It was Sherrys wish for this day to be filled with love and laughter. So please join us to remember the amazing, beautiful life of Sherry. She touched so many of us in a positive way, so let us show our love for her on this day. God bless all of you whom have showed so much love and support to her family.
