Shirley D. Stefanik

Shirley D. Stefanik, 78, died on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Gracedale Nursing Center in Nazareth.

She was born February 15, 1932 in Hellertown, the daughter of the late Charles and Stella Frey Durn.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, William Stefanik.

She worked as a bakery clerk for the former Schoenen's Market of Bethlehem.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Sally wife of Donald Thompson of Coplay and Susan Hare and her companion, Paul Harka of Bethlehem as well as her brother Donald Durn of Bethlehem and her grandchildren and loves of her life, Nicole and Ryan Kloss.

She was also preceded in death by her sister Claire Hartman.

Friends may call on Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 6-7:30 PM with a Celebration of Shirley's life to immediately follow at 7:30PM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem.

Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11 AM. Those wishing to attend the burial may meet at the entrance.
