Shirley Rose Andrayko

Shirley Rose Andrayko, 71, of Whitehall; died on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Hospice House of St. Luke's in Lower Saucon Twp. surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Lehighton, PA; the daughter of the late Charles and Jessica (Zellner) Holecz. She was the wife of Frederick H. Andrayko, they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this past November.

Shirley worked at St. Luke's Hospital for over 20 years as a practical nurse. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Frederick; her five children, Lawrence Traill, Frederick Andrayko, Jr., Virginia Kmetz, Deanne Babio and Veronica Lee; her sister, Glennette Fatzinger; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

Services have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Inc. and will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
