Shirley Ann Shannon

Shirley Ann Shannon, 81, of Alpha, NJ, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital, Warren Campus. She was the wife of the late Leslie Shannon who died February 10, 2004. Shirley was born in Somerville, NJ on May 28, 1943 to the late Frank and Anastasia (Baluta) Zawatski. She worked for many years as a Secretary for Aventis Pharmaceuticals until retiring. Shirley was an avid supporter of the Pocono Greyhound Adoption nonprofit organization, Canadensis, PA .

Survivors: son: Michael P. (Denise) McKeown of Bethlehem; siblings: Frank (Donna) Zawatski of Colorado Springs, CO, Joan (Steve) Fronapfel of Millington, NJ; grandson: Brennan McKeown.
