Sophia Jablonski

Sophia Jablonski, 96, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at St. Luke?s Hospital in Bethlehem. Born March 13, 1914 in Dixon City, PA; she was the daughter of the late, Stanley and Bertha Bahara Duda. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph F. Jablonski.

Sophia was the pillar and hub of her family. She was a terrific cook and baker who welcomed friends and family to her home with open arms.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Michael C. Jablonski with whom she resided in Bethlehem; Joseph F. Jablonski and his wife, Margaret, of Paoli; her four grandchildren, Joseph F., Gregory T., Kurt M. and Kathleen L. Cashman, and her nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Adam and Henry Duda and her sister, Ann Duda.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Monday, January 03, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Incarnation of our Lord Parish, 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Visitation will be held from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad ST. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
