Sophia Tulba

Sophia Tulba, 83, of Hellertown, died Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township. She was born September 9, 1923 in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Pastelyak Wasilick. She was the loving wife of the late John Tulba who died in 1985.

Sophia was a member of Ss Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, of Bethlehem, where she made pierogies for 30 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Elaine Hlavaty, of Allentown; grandson, Brian Trumbower, and his wife Tanya of Allentown; sister, Margaret Tulba of Waterford, CT; and a great-grandchild, Sage Trumbower.

She was preceded in death by a daughter Janet, sisters, Mary Handlovic, Anna Hrivnak, Julia Press, Helen Ward, brothers, George, Michael and John Wasilick.
