Sophie Kronstein, 90, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Old Orchard Manor Care. She previously resided in Lutheran Manor in Bethlehem. Sophie was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Kijak Kotash. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph Kronstein.
Sophie dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a former member of St. Stanislaus and their Rosary Society.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Beverley DeFulvio widow of Joseph and Mariann, wife of Andrew Spevak, all of Bethlehem Twp.; sister, Dorothy Lees of Bethlehem; grandchildren, Dr. Joseph DeFulvio, Stacey, wife of Stephen Keiper, Cherie, wife of John Eatherton, Shelly, wife of Michael Handwerk and her ten great-grandchildren, Joseph, Kiana, Matthew, Devin, Justin, Logan, Adam, Nicholas, John Roger and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph, Edward and Walter and two sisters, Stephanie and Josephine.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
