Stanley R. Scott

Stanley ?Scotty? R. Scott, 80, of Allentown died Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Phoebe Home in Allentown.

Born January 24, 1927 in Allentown he was the son of the late Bertha L. Miller and Stanley Scott. He was married to the late Catherine T. Sedler Scott.

He worked for Bethlehem Steel for 35 years as a bricklayer and retired in 1981. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He attended 1st Baptist Church in Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, William R. Scott of Emmaus, Michael A. Scott and wife Nina of Allentown, daughters, Catherine T. Scott of Bethlehem, Marsha A. Henritzy wife of Barry of Wescosville, Pa., sister, Lillian ?Betsy? Ruth of Allentown. He will also be remembered by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers Arthur Welty, Henry Scott and George Scott.

SERVICES:

Viewing will held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, Thursday morning July 5, 2007 from 10-11 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the funeral home.

Burial will be at Allen Union Cemetery, in Northampton, PA.
