Stanley Wynnycky

Stanley Wynnycky, 89, of Fountain Hill died on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at his residence in Fountain Hill. Stanley was born in Kurytnyky, Ukraine and was the son of the late Joseph and Katherine Stelmuch Wynnycky. Stanley was married to Patricia

Scherbak Wynnycky with whom he celebrated 66 years of marriage this June.

Stanley worked for Bethlehem Steel in the beam yards as a chainman retiring in 1983 after 33 years service. Stanley was a member of St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bethlehem. He was and avid gardener and tailor.

Stanley will be lovingly remembered by his wife Patricia, son George Wynnycky and wife Carmen of Deerfield Beach, FL, a daughter Kathy Wynn and husband Fred Fink of Easton, PA and three grandsons Thomas Wanitsky, Jason Wynnycky and Marcus Wynnycky. He is predeceased by his parents, a daughter Olga Wanitsky and a grandson Michael Wanitsky.

Services:

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM with Parastas Service at 7:00 PM.

Prayers will be at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Connell Funeral Home, Inc. followed by an Office of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1826 Kenmore Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will follow in St. Josaphat's Cemetery.
