Steffie Mary Bugay

Steffie Mary Bugay, 86 of Bethlehem and formerly of Mansfield, PA died on Saturday, August 25, 2018. She was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late William and Blanche (Schmidt) Winiarski. Steffie was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Paul Dominic Bugay.

Steffie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Stephanie Sharpe, wife of the late Jack Sharpe; Teresa Miga and husband, Thomas; and Paulette Levchuk and her husband, Andrew; as well as her son, Paul Joseph Bugay and his wife, Jean; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Steffie and her husband were very active within the church. They served as Eucharistic Ministers, participated as leaders in the marriage preparation, Marriage Encounter, and RCIA programs. Steffie was an avid reader and enjoyed bird watching. She also had a special fondness for wildflowers.

Arrangements have been entrusted to The Connell Funeral Home and will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Lukes Hospice House, c/o development, 240 Union Station Plaza, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
