Stella H. Stapinski

Stella H. Stapinski, 88, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2016; she was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Pauline (Matwejko) Halewich. She was the wife of the late Walter Stapinski who died in 1997. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister; and faithful member of St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, Walter, and David and wife Judy; sister, Katherine Shawaluk; grandchildren, Darin Stapinski and Samantha Pacheco; and great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Benjamin Pacheco. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and Stephan.

Viewing hours will be held at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, on Thursday, March 3 from 7 to 9 p.m., with Parastas at 7 p.m., and again on Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A 10 a.m. Office of Christian Burial will follow on Friday at St. Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1826 Kenmore Ave. Bethlehem, 18018. Burial will be at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

Memorials may be made to the church.
