Stephen A. Pecuch

Stephen “Gus” A. Pecuch, 93, passed away on Thursday April 27, 2023, at Phoebe Home in Allentown, PA. He was born in Bethlehem, in the year 1929, the son of the late John and Anna (Svirzovsky) Pecuch. He was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord in Bethlehem. A graduate of Liberty High School and Penn State (School of Metallurgy), he was formerly employed by the Metallurgy and Research Departments of the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 42 years. He was affiliated with the Big Brothers of the Lehigh Valley for 16 years, being nominated as Big Brother of the Lehigh Valley in 1983. An avid sports fan and world traveler, he attended 6 summer Olympic Games, 2 winter Olympic Games, 4 Pan American Games and a lifetime of Lehigh University athletic activities and functions. He was also a Lehigh University Athletics Partner and was on the support staff for the sports media operations for over 37 years and the football team for over 15 years.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
