Stephen C. Pecsek

Stephen C. Pecsek, 65, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, January 15, 2017. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Stephen “Hips” and Jennie (Tyciak) Pecsek.

Stephen was a 1969 graduate of Freedom High School where he lettered in 3 sports. He was the quarterback of Freedoms first football team and was recently inducted into Freedoms Hall of Fame as a member of that first team. He also attended Hofstra University. Stephen worked for Banko Beverage for 40 years, retiring in 2012. He was a life-long parishioner of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish and of the former Ss. Cyril & Methodius where he served as an altar boy.

He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, John, Charles and Anne, all of Bethlehem.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Wednesday, Jan. 18th from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. A 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday at the Incarnation of Our Lord Church, 617 Pierce St, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
