Stephen Francis Meister

Stephen Francis Meister, 73, of Bethlehem, passed away on April 13, 2019 in Florida. He was born in Orange, New Jersey, the son of the late Francis and Dolores (Clark) Meister. Stephen was the loving and supportive husband of 47 years to the late Rita Ann (Homberger) Meister.

Stephen proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He served on the U.S.S. Randolph. He had a stellar career of 40 years with Chubb Insurance Group retiring as a Production Control Analyst.

Family was extremely important to Stephen. He loved being involved with his children & grandchildren, and when he wasnt with them, you would find him socializing with friends. His summers were filled with many fond memories in Point Pleasant, New Jersey which included fishing, boating, beach time with the grandkids and sitting at the inlet watching the boats with Rita.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Kevin Meister and wife, Lynette; daughters, Sherry Craig and husband, Ron; and Lisa Meister; as well as his grandchildren, Brooke, Carter, Logan and Lily; and sisters, Patricia Meister and Mary Mulcahy.

A viewing will be held from 8 AM to 12 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018, followed by a funeral service at noon. Burial with military honors will take place at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
