Stephen G. Nemes

Stephen G. Nemes, 46, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, November 3, 2012. He was born in Bethlehem, son of Stephen "Hector" and Marie Ann (Wingert) Nemes. He was the loving husband of Kimberly (Fatzinger) Nemes, they would have celebrated their 20th anniversary on November 13th.

Stephen was employed by the City of Bethlehem where he most recently worked in the Control Room of the Water Department. Prior to, he worked at the Municipal Golf Course and Municipal Ice Skating Rink where he took pride in maintaining the greens and the ice. He loved being around the kids at the skating rink and making sure they felt safe. He was a devoted father and husband; and a die-hard Yankees fan.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kimberly, son, Aron and daughter, Sydney, all of Bethlehem; parents, Stephen "Hector" and Marie Ann of Northampton; brother, Matthew of Northampton; his many nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets, Raine, Shadow, Callie and grand dog, Thunder.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, 18018, where visitation hours will be held on Friday November 9th from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. Services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 9:45 a.m. followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made to a fund for the Nemes children. Checks should be made payable to Kimberly and mailed to the funeral home.
