Stephen J. Wasil

Stephen J. Wasil, 79, of Bethlehem, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday August 5, 2021 at St. Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Born at St. Lukes, Stephen was a lifelong resident of Bethlehem. On May 15th he celebrated 50 years of marriage with his wife, Mary Ann (Nehilla) Wasil. Stephen retired in 2008 after 42 years working for the City of Bethlehem water department. He served his country in the US Army. Stephen was also a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School. He enjoyed playing the lottery and going to the casino.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Ann, daughters, Stephanie Weirauch and husband Brian, and Melissa Linsenbigler and husband Michael, grandson, Marc Stephen, and beloved cats, Buffy Willow, Shadow, and Noah.

A viewing will be held from 11am-12pm Tuesday August 10, 2021 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA followed by a service at 12pm. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of ones choice.
