Stephen J. Zientek

Stephen J. Zientek, 62, of Bethlehem Township, died January 11, 2008 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. Born September 20, 1945 in Louisville, KY, he was the son of the late Stephen S. and Josephine Ignatowicz Zientek.

He was married to Arlene Poplawski Zientek with whom he just celebrated their 40th anniversary this past December 2nd.

Stephen worked at Agere Technologies as a logistics supervisor. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Stephen was a very generous, caring family man who always put his family first.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Arlene of Bethlehem Township, daughter, Angela wife of Thomas Wendland of Bethlehem Township, son, Scott Zientek husband of Melissa of Reston, VA. He will also be missed by his three grandchildren; Thomas, Samantha, and Robert Wendland.

He was preceded in death by his brother Lawrence Zientek.

Services

A viewing will be held Wednesday January 16, 2008 from 2-4 PM and 7-9PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. A calling hour will be held Thursday January 17, 2008 in the funeral home from 9-10:15 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem.
