Stephen John Michaylira, Sr.

Stephen John Michaylira, Sr., 63, passed away Sunday, June 20th in the arms of his family in Muhlenberg Hospital. He and his wife, Winnie Andreoli celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on November 22nd. Born in New York City on April 5, 1947, he was the son of the late Marie Pelzman and Michael Michaylira.

He attended Bethlehem Schools and was employed by the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 32 years until its closing. He had been currently employed as a courier for the Health Network Labs.



He is survived by his wife; daughter, Lana Marie of Palmer Twp.; son, Steve, Jr. in Baldwinsville, NY; brothers, Ed and his wife, Anita of Hellertown; Michael and his wife, Cindy of Bethlehem; sister, Rose Miletich and her husband, Jack of New York; brothers-in-law, Nick Andreoli of Bethlehem; Fred Andreoli and his wife, Sandy of Bethlehem Twp.; nieces and nephews. Also his two buddies Nutzy Cat and Momma Cat. He was predeceased by Baby Michaylira in 1975 and his "shadow" of 17 years, Spooky, and his brother, John.

Steve was a hard worker, great friend, good husband and a great father. Always ready to give a helping hand. He loved all creatures great and small.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Connell Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
