Stephen L. Schleppy

September 2, 1949 — August 13, 2010

Stephen L. Schleppy, 60 of Bethlehem died Friday morning at VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twsp.

Steve and his wife of Barbara Pramick Schleppy proudly celebrated their 37th anniversary May 19th.

Born in Bethlehem he is the son of the late Charles and Mary Papp Schleppy.

Steve always had a smile on his face and enjoyed helping family and friends.

Steve had been an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem and had ran the church bingo for many years and assisted in many fund raising events.

He proudly served in the U. S. Army serving in VietNam.

He was a loyal member of the staff at Notre Dame High School for the past 15 years working in the maintenance dept.

Prior he worked in the Garment Industry in the Lehigh Valley.

Steve will be dearly missed by all his family and friends and surviving with his wife Barbara are his daughter Mandy wife of Gary Behler of Northampton, son Mark and his wife Jane of Bethlehem, grandchildren: Tyler, Reese and Nolan and his brothers: Charles, Richard , Erwin, Gerald and Calvin Mike

He is also survived by his brother in law Stephen Pramick and his wife Debbie, Nieces Nikki and Becki and her husband Wayne, and many other nieces and nephews

Steve was preceded in death by brothers: James, Kenneth, Donald, Henry George and his sisters: RoseMarie and Jeanette wife of Frank Dancsecs.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday Aug. 17th at 10:15a.m.at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, Pa.

Visitation will be on Tuesday 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home.
