Stephen M. Bobial

Stephen M Bobial, 87 , of Hellertown, formerly of Bethlehem died on Sunday, September 21, 2008 at St.Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem. He was born in Hellertown and was the son of the late Steven and Susanne Valas Bobial and the husband of Irene M. Spisak Bobial.

Stephen served in the U.S. Marines in the Pacific Theather during WW II. He worked for

Bethlehem Steel in the Coke Works Division retiring after 42 years service. Steve was and avid bowler and bowled in Ss. Cyril & Methodious Church League. He was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord's Parish Church and its seniors group and was a member of the VFW in Fountain Hill.

Stephen will be lovingly remembered by his wife Irene M. Spisak Bobial, a sister Helen Landis of Allentown; two sisters-in-law, Cecilia Kish of Delaware and Bernadine Fleitas of Arizona; and nieces and nephews.

Stephen is predeceased by three sisters, Suzanne, Mary, and Ann.

Family and friends may call at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem on Thursday, September 25, 2008 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Incarnation of Our Lord's Parish, 617 Pierce St., Bethlehem on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 10:00 AM
