Steve M. Domitrecz

Steve M. Domitrecz, Sr., 87, of Bethlehem, PA died Saturday, April 5, 2008 at Kirkland Village in Bethlehem. Born December 25, 1920 in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Theresa Gombocz and Martin Domitrecz. He was married to Sophie Wanda Dolhanowsky Domitrecz for 60 years.

Steve proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Air Force. He worked for Bethlehem Steel as a machinist for 42 years and retired in 1980. He was a member of the AFL-CIO USW Local 2598. Steve was a very active lifelong member at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was a member of the church's Holy Name Society and served as one of its past presidents. He was also once named Man of the Year for St. Joseph's Holy Name Society. Steve had memberships also with the Tri-Local Golf League and the Bethlehem M.O.R.A. Club.

Steve will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sophie Wanda and his son Steve Domitrecz, Jr. and wife Sandy of Bethlehem.

He was preceded in death by his brother Frank Domitrecz.



SERVICES

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A service will be held in the funeral home Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church 416 E. 5th St. Bethlehem, PA.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Steve's name to St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bethlehem.
