Steven Anthony Siderias, 47, formerly of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, May 26, 2013. He was born July 9, 1965, son of Frances (Walakovits) Siderias of Bethlehem, and the grandson of the late Charles A. and Helen E. Walakovits.
Steve was a 1983 graduate of Liberty High School, where he excelled on the Hurricane baseball team. He also played Junior Legion for the Bethlehem Wanderers as a standout infielder, receiving the MVP award. Upon graduation, he entered the US Navy. Steve proudly served his country for 13 years, as Radioman on the USS Nassau and a Special Warfare Combat Crewman with the Special Boat Warfare Group, Naval Amphibious Base, Little Creek, Virginia. He most recently was the owner, CEO and president of Extreme Outfitters, Inc., a tactical gear store that served both the needs of the military, law enforcement, and civilians.
He will be dearly missed by his, mother, Frances; brother, Michael Siderias of Washington Borough, PA; his uncle, Charles Walakovits and his wife, Beverly, of Bethlehem; and his three nieces and a nephew.
The family will receive friends from 10:30-11 AM on Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a ceremony to immediately follow in the funeral home. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
