Susan De Rosa

Susan E. De Rosa, 51, of Bethlehem Township died on Tuesday November 15, 2016 at St. Lukes Hospital with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Jeanette (Guenst) Ashforth of Allentown and the late John E. Ashforth. Susan was married to Michael De Rosa with whom she just celebrated 31 years on November 2nd.

Susan was a special daughter, wife, sister and mother to all those that new her. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. She could always be found in her yard at home tending to her garden making it stand out from every other home in the neighborhood. She was always ready to go on a bargain hunt to a thrift store, flea market, or yard sale. Susan also loved animals always caring for her "Babies" meaning her several dogs and cats.

She will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Jeanette, husband, Michael De Rosa, daughter, Kayleigh M. De Rosa and Kayleigh's significant other Joshua Rhodes, brother, David Ashforth and several nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marjorie Horutz and a nephew Michael Horutz.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18015 from 7-9 p.m. and again on Wednesday, November 23rd from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. followed by a service to celebrate Susans life. Burial will follow at Nisky Hill Cemetery in Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made in Susans name to the Center for Animal health and Welfare 1165 Island park Rd., Easton, PA 18042.
