Susan Geiger

Susan Ross Geiger, 71, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the St. Luke's Hospice House in Lower Saucon Twp. after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born in New Jersey; the daughter of the late Warren and Helen Newhard. She was the loving wife of the late, Jere Beidelman.

Susan worked for Agere, formerly Western Electric and Lucent Technologies, for 41 years in the thick film department. She enjoyed going to the casinos and liked to make stained glass.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, David Beidelman and his wife, Susan, of New Jersey; Michael Beidelman of Nescopeck; Jamie, wife of Norman Thomas of Northampton; Jay Geiger and his wife, Michelle, and Joseph Geiger, Jr. all of Bethlehem; brothers, William Ross and his wife, Penny,

of Texas; Ronald Ross of Oregon; and Susan's grandchildren, Ashley, Erin, Phillip, Paige, Abigail, Tori, Jordan, Rebecca and Anthony.

She was preceded in death by her her son, James Geiger and sister, Barbara Platte.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6 - 9 p.m. and Saturday, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
