Susan M. Brink

Susan M. Maxwell Brink, 47, of Bethlehem, PA, formerly of Long Valley, NJ, passed away suddenly while at work Monday, January 11, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest in Allentown, PA. Born May 7, 1962 in Newton Hospital in Newton, NJ, she was the daughter of Betty Jane Maxwell and the late Edward B. Maxwell. She was married to William Brink with whom she celebrated 28 years of marriage this past June.

Susan was a 1980 graduate of West Morris Central High School in New Jersey. She previously worked for UPS and Cintas Uniform Company but was currently employed by Lehigh Valley Hospital as a support partner since February 2008. Susan loved to crochet, collect Lighthouses, Denim Days Figurines, Snow Babies and she especially enjoyed her trips to the Jersey Shore with her family.

Susan will be lovingly remembered by her husband, William Brink, daughter, Jennifer and husband Erich R. Sodtalbers, son, William E. Brink and his fianc Lindsay Locher, mother, Betty Jane Maxwell, brother, Edward Maxwell, Jr., sister, Nancy Hoffman, one granddaughter and twin granddaughters on the way. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 from 4-6 PM and 7-9PM at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. A calling period will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2009 in the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM.
