Susan M. Ripple

Susan M. Ripple, 64, of Bethlehem, died at home on Sunday, November 2, 2014. She was born June 14, 1950 in Allentown; daughter of the late, Frank and Laura (Celeste) Maderic. Susan was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Gary A. Ripple. Susan worked as a teacher aide for the Bethlehem Area School District, primarily serving and retiring from William Penn Elementary School. She enjoyed game nights with her friends and was an avid gardener.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Derek J. Ripple of Northampton and Laura J. Ripple, and her husband, Jonathan Arce of Burke, VA; and her brothers, Robert Maderic of Hawaii; Richard Maderic of Bethlehem and Bruce Maderic of Arizona.

A Memorial service will be held at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forgotten Felines P.O. Box 62 Germansville, PA 18053.
