Susan R. Hillman

Susan R. Hillman, 79, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Sunday January 15, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 1, 1937 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Benjamin and Berthe (Giess) Erisman. She was the wife of Donald J. Hillman of Bethlehem. They were married for 58 years. Susan was the owner and founder of Daycare in the Park in Bethlehem since 1985 and was sold in 2001 as two centers for over 300 children.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Donald , daughters, Stephanie Hillman of Bethlehem, Lisa Piegza (Mark) of Ramsey, NJ, and Jennifer LaFrankie (Patrick) of Newark, DE, grandchildren, Alexandra, Charles, John, Claire, Aidan, and Stewart. She was predeceased by 2 sisters.

Services will be held privately for the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army 521 Pembroke Rd. Bethlehem, Pa. 18018.
