Susanne Valentina Serfecz

Susanne Valentina Serfecz, 60,

of Harrisburg, died on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at her home.

She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Andrew S. and Anna Lisicky Panik. She was the loving wife of Frank Robert Serfecz. They celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary this past October 14th.

Susan worked for St. Luke's Hospital and then UPS for ten years.

She was a 1967 graduate of Notre Dame High School Green Pond and attended Northampton Community College.

Susan loved gardening and traveling worldwide. She was a former member of D.A.R. and loved doing genealogy of her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Frank of Harrisburg; son, Jason Alexander Serfecz of Lancaster; daughter, Jacquelyn Caryn Serfecz of Allentown;

brothers, Jude Panik and Joseph Panik of Bethlehem; Alexander Panik of Palm Harbor, FL; and Thomas Panik of Bethlehem Twp. She was preceded in death by, her brother, Andrew Panik.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem.
