Ted Danyluk

Ted Danyluk, 72, of Bethlehem, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Fountain Hill; the son of the late Andrew J. and Mary Kraponick Danyluk. He is the husband of Mary S. Slafkosky Danyluk. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this past May 27th.

Ted worked for PPL as a Lineman, retiring in 1994 after 33 years of service. He graduated from Hellertown High School in 1957, served in the U.S. Army, was a former Salisbury Township Commissioner, a volunteer at the River Road Fire Company, and a manager and coach at the Salisbury Boys Club. He was a member of St. Ursula's Catholic Church.

He will be remembered by his wife, Mary, his four sons, Theodore J. Danyluk and his wife, Laura, Christopher Danyluk and his wife, Barbara, Mark A. Danyluk and his wife, Sue, and Eric Danyluk and his wife, Danielle, his brother, Andrew J. Danyluk and his five grandchildren, Christopher J., Katrina A., Alec J., Adriana O., and Darian M. He was predeceased by his sister, Marlene Gaffney.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Ursula's Catholic Church 1300 Broadway, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Friends may call on Friday, August 26, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, and again on Saturday from 9-10 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow at St. Josaphat's Cemetery, Lower Saucon Twp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ursula's Catholic Church Memorial Fund.
