Teodoro Huertas Sr.

Teodoro Huertas, Sr., 84, of Allentown, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at St. Luke's Fountain Hill.

Born on July 31, 1940, in Patillas, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Isabello and Ramona (Rivera) Huertas.

Teodoro attended mass at Holy Infancy. He was an upholstery worker for his entire life-eventually starting his own business and running that for almost 30 years. In his free time, he enjoyed bowling, fishing, and riding bike. Teodoro especially loved his family, who will miss him dearly.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Nelda H. Huertas; son, Teodoro (Andrea) Huertas, Jr.; daughter, Denise (Robert) Muth; stepson, Johnny M. Hernandez; grandchildren, Teodoro Huertas III and Shayna L. Huertas; siblings, Elena Ortiz, Anna Marie Vazquez, Isabello Huertas, Jr., Trinidad Huertas, Mary Owens, Casilda Huertas, Mary Jane Foley, Angelo Huertas, Sandra Shablin, and Orlando Huertas.

In addition to his parents, Teodoro is preceded in death by his daughter, Marguerita Huertas; brother, Thomas Huertas; sister, Francis Huertas; and stepson, George A. Hernandez.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, from 5-7:00 p.m .at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Infancy Church, 312 E. 4th St., Bethlehem, PA 18015. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
