Teresa Tolnai

Teresa Tolnai, 96, of Bethlehem died on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was born October 8, 1917 in Bethlehem; daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Kondor) Korpics. Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Tolnai.

Teresa was a seamstress for Sure Fit Inc. and R.K. Laros Silk Co. She was a former member of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Teresa enjoyed playing cards and bingo, going to the casinos, watching television and most especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Stephen T. Tolnai and his wife, Wanda of Bethlehem Twp.; her sisters, Julia Zavecz of Freemansburg and Rosemary Shiner of Avondale, PA; as well as her three grandchildren, Megan Strahota, Susan Fickert and Allison Tolnai and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Csaszar, Anna Korpics and Helen Vargo and her brothers, Frank, Joseph and Charles Korpics.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 10-11 am at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a service to immediately follow. Interment will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
