Theetta T. Casilio

Theetta T. ?Teddie? Casilio, 80, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, December 16, 2010. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Harry and Anna Melcher Hippensteal. She was the loving wife of John F. Casilio. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary this past November.

Teddie graduated from St. Luke?s School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for many years before devoting her life to her family. She was a lifetime member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Colesville where she was very active with the Health Ministry and also volunteered much of her time to caring for the elderly with the former Age Well Association.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, John; sons, Jim,

Frank, Cory and Mario Casilio, her daughter, Maria Medei, brothers, Jack, Bobby and Richard Hippensteal and her nine grandchildren.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Monday, December 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Visitation will be held, Sunday, from 7-9 p.m. and Monday, from 8:15-9:15 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Entombment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
