Theresa Blatnik

Theresa A. Blatnik, 79, of Bethlehem, died on October 17, 2013. She was born in Fountain Hill, PA the daughter of the late Erdman and Anna (Spisak) Brauchle. Theresa was married to the late, Frank W. Blatnik, Sr. for 58 years.

Prior to raising a family, Theresa worked at Sure Fit Corporation. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a former member of the Sacred Heart Womens Auxiliary.

Theresa loved children and dedicated her time voluntarily watching them for many years. She also dedicated her life to her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Barbara Ann Curry and her husband, Robert; her son, Frank W. Blatnik, Jr. and his wife, Margaret, all of Bethlehem. Theresa will also be dearly missed by her grandson, Frank W. Blatnik, III and her great-grandson, Tyler James Blatnik; her sister, Elizabeth Arnold of Toledo, Ohio; and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles Brauchle of Toledo; and Erdman (Sonny) Brauchle and John Brauchle both of Bethlehem.

Services: A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. Graveside Service with Inurnment will be held on Monday at 10:45 a.m. at Holy Saviour Cemetery, 2575 Linden St. Bethlehem. Relatives and friends are asked to meet at the entrance to the cemetery prior to the service.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia, 3401 Civic Center Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19104.
