Theresa Eleanor Sinicz

Theresa Eleanor Sinicz, 92, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Easton Hospital. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Michele and Marianna (Ricci) Ruggiero. She was the devoted wife of 72 years to the late Louis Sinicz, who had recently passed away on May 13th.

Theresa worked for Browns Clothing and Juvenile Furniture for 20 years. In addition, she worked for Alice Kay Shop as a Sales Associate and Visual Merchandiser for 37 years. She was a fantastic cook who loved to entertain. She was a singer in numerous shows and minstrels in the Lehigh Valley. She also entertained veterans in Wilkes-Barre.

She was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary in Bethlehem where she was a member of the Mother of Sorrows Sodality. More recently she was a member of St. Annes Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

Theresa will be lovingly remembered by her son, Frank Louis Sinicz and his wife, Margaret Mary of Easton; daughter, Lois Ann Eilert and her husband, Thomas, of Norwich, CT; grandchildren, Francesca, Michele, Lori Ann, Heather, Sheila, Frank and Mark; great-grandchildren, Racquelle, Michael, Gina, Kyle, Rhyess Brenden, Lindsay, Lauren and Frank; great-great-granddaughter, Irie; sisters, Mary Calvo of Bethlehem and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Urello; sisters, Grace Spinelli and Josephine Kardos; and her brothers, Pasquale and Anthony J. Ruggiero.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 10 a.m. at St. Annes Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 and again on Thursday, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Annes Church.
