Theresa F. Washitza

Theresa F. Washitza, 84, of Bethlehem was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Philip and Frances Gecsek. She was the loving wife of the late Julius Washitza. They celebrated 42 years of marriage until his passing in 1987.

Theresa dedicated her life to her family.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Rita, wife of Ronald R. Lawrence of Macungie;

Francine, wife of William Hnat, Sr. of Whitehall; brothers, Joseph, Edward & Emil Gecsek,

sister, Elizabeth Desort, grandchildren, Ronita Lawrence, Ronald J. Lawrence & his wife, Marisa, William Hnat, Jr., Liane, wife of Captain, John Yanikov, Nicole, wife of Adam Smith

and her two great-grandchildren, Cienna Smith & Jonah Lawrence.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Kovacs and Mary Balog and her brother, Frank Gecsek.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Connell Funeral Home, Inc. Bethlehem is in charge of arrangements.
