Theresa J. Denofa

Theresa J. Denofa, 92 of Bethlehem went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 5, 2008 at Holy Family Manor. She was the wife of the late Thomas A. Denofa who died in 1977. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late John and Julia Mulzet Judd.

Theresa had been a member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Bethlehem. She retired at age 77 from the Sayre Child Center in Bethlehem after 38 years of dedicated service as a child care provider.

Surviving are sons James T. and his wife Julia of Bethlehem, Thomas R. and his wife Jane of Lady Lakes, Fla., daughter Jean, wife of Carl Marx of Quakertown, brother William Judd of Allentown, sisters Margaret Dancho of Bethlehem and Stella Czar in Florida. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Funeral services begin 11:30AM Tuesday, December 9, 2008 in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem followed at 12 noon by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem. There will be a visitation from 9:30AM - 11:30AM on Tuesday in the funeral home.

Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
