Theresa V. Schultz, 89 of South Bethlehem, Pa. died Friday at Gracedale in Lower Nazareth Township. She was the wife of the late Robert R. Schultz sho died in 1985.
Born in Bethlehem Theresa is the daughter of the late Gabriel and Caroline ?Lena? Gaspar Karba.
Theresa worked hard most of her life. In the 1940?s she worked as a crane operator for the Bethlehem Steel Company. She later worked for many years with Marvel Maid, later was a nurses aide at Allentown State Hospital and then worked as a sewing machine operator for Holtz Company retiring in 1980.
She was a devoted member of St. John Capistrano Church in Bethlehem her entire life. She enjoyed bowling in the church bowling league and was a member of Missionary International Vehicle Association in association with Fr. Philip DeRea.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Roberta Haskell of Bethlehem, her sisters Margaret Kantor of Bethlehem, her two grandchildren Scott and Carla and her two great grandsons Robert and Michael. In addition to her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sisters: Mary Orsag, Helen Karba and Anna Palenik and her brothers; Stephen, Joseph and Frank Karba.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday May 8th at 9:30 a.m at the Connell Funeral Home 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Capistrano Church.
Visitation will be on Monday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, Pa.
