Thomas A. Long

Thomas A. Long, 86, of Bethlehem, passed into the Lords hands on Monday, November 4, 2013 at his home at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. Born in Bethlehem, PA on April 21, 1927; he was the son of the late Mary and Joseph Long. He was the loving husband of Frances (Lang) Long, they were married 63 years.

Tom was employed by the Bethlehem Steel for 38 years; retiring from Homer Research Labs in 1985. He proudly served with the Army during WWII.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Frances; daughter, Diane Rice and husband, Michael,

and son, David Long and wife, Kim; and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 9 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd. Bethlehem. A 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
