Thomas A. Weber

Thomas Albert Weber, 78, of Bethlehem died Monday June 22, 2009 at Moravian Village, Bethlehem. Born in New York City on January 14, 1931; he was the son of the late George and Margaret Simoni Weber. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rita L nee Revell.

Thomas served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1968 in various ships and stations. He worked as a security guard for the former Western Electric Co., Kearny, NJ, retiring as a machinery operator at AT&T Allentown plant in 1993 after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, branches 78 Hudson County, NJ & Black Diamond Branch 115 for over 45 years. He served as branch Vice President for Branch 78 and Chaplain for Branch 115.

He will be lovingly remembered by wife, Rita of Bethlehem, brother, George and his wife Ann of Jim Thorpe, PA, sister, Margaret Weber of Brick, NJ, and sister-in-law, Sharon Weber of Glendale, AZ. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Place Bethlehem, PA 18017.
