Thomas Bringenberg entered into eternal rest on July 6, 2017. He was the loving husband of Irene (Roseman). They were married 69 years. Thomas was born on July 22,1925. He was a son of the late Eleanor (McGinley) and the late Lawrence Bringenberg. He served with the US Navy in World War II. Thomas was a lifelong firefighter for the city of Bethlehem. He was also a long standing member of the Home Of The Good Samaritans. Surviving in addition to his wife are his sons Thomas Jr. (Sue), Richard (Esta May), and Alan; daughter Sharon DeFrain; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sisters Trudy Fenton, Sister Eleanor Mary and Rita Kent. Thomas is also preceded in death by brothers, Lawrence Jr., Leonard, Paul, Frederick, Vincent and Carl; sons Robert and David; Daughter-in-law Sue, and Son-in-law Harold. Funeral services will be held at Incarnation of Our Lord, 617 Pierce St. Bethlehem, 10:00 AM viewing and 11:00 AM mass, burial to follow at Bethlehem Memorial Park. Arrangements made by family and Connell Funeral Home. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
