Thomas G. Morrissey

Thomas G. “Tommy” Morrissey, 72, of Bethlehem and formerly of Allentown, passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Vincent and Freida (Monshein) Morrissey. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Judith (Seislove) Morrissey. Tommy was employed by the Bethlehem Steel and worked in his familys business, Rich Mar Florist, for over 50 years. He was an avid fan and season ticket holder of both the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Phantoms.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Judy; nephew, Richard J. Morrissey (Frances); nieces, Shannon and Brigit Rooney; great nephews, Jonathan Morrissey (Melissa) and Brett Rooney; great-great niece, Charlotte Morrissey; sister-in-law, Jane Williams; and his co-workers at Rich Mar. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard P. Morrissey.

Viewing hours will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Tuesday, Nov. 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem.
