Thomas J. Ford

Thomas J. Ford, 82, of Moore Twp., died on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Manor Care, Bethlehem.

He was born February 21, 1927 in Bethlehem, the son of the late Mark and Rose Csapek Ford.

Thomas proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corp. after 39 years of service with the Basic Oxygen Furnace.

Thomas was a member of American Legion Post 470 in Bath and was a charter member of the Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Co.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Kathryn L. Wright Ford of Bath; Kelsey White and Trevor Frana as well as his brothers, John Ford of Bethlehem and Richard Ford and his wife Barbara of Bath.

He was preceded in death by his son Timothy Ford, sister Rose Stumer and his brothers, Mark and James.

A viewing will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 12 to 1 PM immediately followed by a ceremony to celebrate Thomas' life at 1PM.

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
