Thomas J Yencho, Sr

Mr. Thomas J. Yencho, Sr., 83 of Bethlehem, surrounded by his loving family, died Friday evening at this home. He and his wife Martha H. Molnar Yencho would have celebrated their 60th Anniversary on Thursday October 21st.

Born in Drifton, PA he is the son of the late Jacob J. and Suzanne Jurso Yencho.

After graduating from Liberty High School in 1945 he then joined the U. S. Army during the Koreran Conflict serving as a physical therapist in Walter Reed Hospital.

He worked at A + D Tile Company of Easton for 45 years retiring in 1993

He had been a charter member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Bethlehem

Thomas was dedicated to his family and enjoyed watching all of his grandchildren activities.

Surviving with his wife are his daughter Cathy M. wife of John Lasko of Mountain Top, PA, his sons; Thomas J. Jr. and his wife Brigitte of Bethlehem, Gary D. and his wife Cheryl of Schnecksville and Mark S. and his wife Suzanne of Bethlehem and his eleven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers George Barney, Joseph, John, Jacob and his sisters Mary Matejicka, Anna Huda and Veronica Dunstan

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home 245 East Broad St. and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem.

Visitation will be on Monday 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial may be made in Thomas's name to the church or to St. Luke's Hospice 1510 Center Valley Parkway Bethlehem, Pa 18017
