Timothy J. Petko

Timothy J. Petko, 58, of Easton, died on Thursday, January 13, 2011.

He was born June 24, 1952 in Bethlehem; the son of the late Francis J. and Irene C. Csaszar Petko.

Timothy was a graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Timothy also attended St. Charles Borromeo Seminary for 8 years.

He currently worked for Square 1 Market in Easton and earlier assisted at the Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society.

Timothy will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Mary Carol Bartley, Francis J. Petko, Jr., Jayne Hartzog, Rita Petko-Sands, Regina Gottshall, Nancy Winkler, and Christopher Petko; his nieces and nephews, Justin, Erika, Gregory, David Jon, Ann Marie, Jesse, Leah, Zachary, Harley, Taylor, Roxy, and Blaze, great-niece Sidney; as well as his aunt Anna Mae Kusinic and his uncle Carl Csaszar.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Irene and brother, Richard.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem where the family will receive friends from 9:15-10:15 AM Tuesday, January 18, 2011.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at St. Jane de Chantel Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave. Easton, PA 18045.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Northampton County Historical & Genealogical Society 342 Northampton St., Easton, PA 18042

Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
